How much does sublimation cost?

Sublimation costs vary, just like any other printing method. The method does allow for unlimited colors, so the savings come when printing full color images. If you are in need of a photorealistic print or a multi color art piece reproduction, sublimation is a great bang for the buck. No minimums is another bonus, we can print one, full color t-shirt at no extra charge to you.

Sandcarving is an artistic way to etch glass, wood, metal, leather and other various materials. It can also carve into thicker materials such as glass and wood, creating depth, and texture. Laser etching is limited to scratching the surface of the object and doesn’t allow for any variants in depth. Frosting effect is a huge limitation for laser engraving, sandcarving can frost, etch, engrave and carve all in the same piece.

should i sublimate or screenprint?

It depends on what you are wanting to do. If you want a white design on a black shirt, screen printing is your best option. If you want a full color design on a light color shirt, coffee mug, metal print or even a dog bowl, sublimation would be a great choice.

can i sublimate to black?

No. The sublimation process does not have the capability to print white. The optimal color to print on is white, but we can print to light colors as well. The color of the item will tend to hue the colors of the design a little, altering the original colors. This can actually be a great design element if used properly.

can you sandcarve an item that i already have?

Yes, we can carve an item that you currently own. As long as it is material that we can and normally carve we will gladly do it for you. There is a small handling charge for these jobs, as we have to take extra precautions to prep and protect when it’s your personal item.
